Questions About CCW & FBFT's CCW Classes?
You must be 21 or older, complete an approved training course, and meet eligibility requirements. Full requirements: https://www.fdacs.gov/Consumer-Resources/Concealed-Weapon-License
No. Completing a training course does not guarantee approval. Final approval depends on Florida’s eligibility requirements and background review.
Please bring a valid photo ID and any items specifically requested during registration. Additional class details will be shared before your training date.
No prior experience is required for beginner-level classes. We offer training options for new shooters as well as more advanced students.
Yes, at Florida Bilingual Firearms Training, LLC we offer one-on-one sessions at the range, as well as private classes (not for the general public to register). Content and length may vary to customize the experience according to the student needs and preferences, for personalized instruction. Contact us for more details and/or to schedule.
The training certificate is used as part of your CCW application. It is best to submit your application as soon as possible after completing your course. The FL CCW License is valid for seven (7) years.
Yes. Florida requires proof of firearm competency, which typically includes a live-fire component as part of the training process.
The Lead Instructor of FBFT holds all of the NRA instructor certifications (Nationwide CCW, Pistol, Rifle, Shotgun, Personal Protection, Muzzleloading, Reloading, RTBAV), and Chief Range Safety Officer. She is also a certified armorer for GLOCK, SIG Sauer/Mossberg. She is the only Latina in Florida with all NRA instructor certifications.
Yes, some courses may be provided at the comfort of your office or own home, if you form a group of not less than 5 students (depends on your address).

Moving to another state and want your CCW certificate to comply with your next state’s requirements? Contact us! Our head instructor also holds the National Rifle Association (NRA) Nationwide CCW Instructor Certification. Your class and certificate will be developed in full compliance with the specific requirements of that state. The NRA’s Nationwide Instructor Certification is valid throughout the United States.
